Together, we’ll find connections and crossover within artistic disciplines and discover what fuels my own creative fire. We’ll learn about visual poetry, movement theatre, puppetry, circus skills, memoir, radio theatre, and creative writing.

Discover exciting ways to express yourself through the alphabet and book arts. We’ll use lines, letters, and marks as the focus, then add color and design to make fun, fabulous works of art. Our goal will be to enjoy the art-making process through a playful, non-judgmental approach. Along the way we’ll improve our imaginative skills, gain confidence, and increase knowledge that will serve us in other areas of school and life.

This session will provide opportunity to learn classical Indian dance. 

Learn through an exciting hands on studio workshop.  Students can look forward to drawing, painting, collage, sculpture and more as they create their way through elements, principles and historical contexts of the visual arts!  We will be executing amazing works using basic supplies that students should already have in their art supply arsenal or in their homes. Combining theatre history and digital innovation, this course will empower each student to create original theatre works as a team (on the spot)! Collaboration and creativity are at the heart of this devised theatre course.

Lessons involve technique, art history, and the creative process.  We will be exploring the elements and principles of art and have fun in the process of finding ways of making dynamite art with limited supplies!
