The foundation of my skills comes from Classical Indian Dance. The sessions would introduce the movement vocabulary of the dance, give them a historical perspective of the origin and evolution of the art form, teach them relevant vocabulary, and explain the interconnectedness of the arts, religion and social structure of India.
