Cristina Sohns Williams, along with her husband Jerry and son Michael, calls Dunmore home. With an impressive 38-year career in choreography and dance instruction, Cristina has left an indelible mark on the dance community. For 28 years, she served as the Owner and Artistic Director of the CSW Studio of Dance, showcasing her passion for teaching and choreography. Additionally, Cristina held various roles at the Abington Heights Civic League Dance Academy for 32 years, including Director, Assistant Director, choreographic consultant, and stage manager. Cristina's choreographic talents have graced numerous high schools, including Dunmore, North Pocono, Abington Heights, Valley View, Lakeland, Honesdale, and Northwestern Lehigh. She has also lent her expertise to institutions such as Penn State Worthington Players, Northampton Community College Theatre Department, and NCC's Professional Summer Theatre. Her extensive teaching experience includes roles at the Scranton Civic Ballet Company/Civic Dance Center and Linn McDonald School of Dance. Cristina has also contributed to the Physical Education Department at the University of Scranton and showcased her talents with the Pocono Playhouse Children's Theatre, Imagine Performing Arts Center, and The Creative and Performing Academy of NEPA. Having choreographed and performed in over 350+ productions, for both matures and professionals alike, Cristina is a seasoned professional in the world of dance. She is a proud member of Dance Educators of America and serves as an adjunct faculty member at Marywood University and Northampton Community College. Cristina's impressive resume includes choreographing for Stars Within Reach Productions in NYC, Harry Connick Jr's musical "The Happy Elf" at the Scranton Cultural Center, and serving as the choreographer for the ARC's Angels On Stage productions for the past six years. Her dedication and talent have enriched the arts community and inspired countless dancers throughout her illustrious career.
